The Avarynth Research & Innovation Hub connects applied research, implementation experience, evaluation, evidence translation, and practical innovation around real-world public health and development challenges.
The Hub is designed to help institutions better understand problems, test and assess approaches, generate useful evidence, and translate learning into policy, programs, systems, and practice.
Our Purpose
The Hub exists to connect inquiry with action.
We focus on questions that arise from real programs, systems, institutions, policies, and communities, with an emphasis on evidence that can inform decisions, implementation, learning, and future practice.
Our work may include applied research, implementation research, evaluation, evidence synthesis, policy analysis, digital methods, and other approaches suited to the question being addressed.
How the Hub Works
Clarify the problem, decision need, research question, context, and intended use of the evidence.
Use appropriate research, evaluation, analytical, qualitative, quantitative, or evidence-synthesis approaches to generate or assess knowledge.
Examine what the evidence means within the relevant policy, program, institutional, implementation, and community context.
Translate learning into recommendations, implementation choices, policy discussions, technical products, tools, or further research.
Innovation
Innovation within Avarynth is broader than technology alone. It is the practical work of adapting ideas, methods, tools, and delivery approaches to the setting and the problem.
Developing and testing more practical approaches to service delivery, implementation, systems strengthening, and population reach.
Exploring responsible uses of digital tools, data systems, analytics, and AI in public health, development, research, organizational performance, and learning.

Current Research
Project 01
This collaborative research examines structural and behavioral factors shaping antimicrobial resistance in Nigeria, including governance, surveillance, antimicrobial consumption, community antibiotic use, and the relationship between formal systems and everyday practice.
