Julia DeAngelo, MSW

Julia DeAngelo draws on her experience as a direct service worker, public health researcher, and program evaluator, and is committed to integrated social work practice that bridges clinical care, macro systems, and policy.

She is a clinical social worker at Boston Medical Center, where she partners with women to access integrated medical care and substance use support. She previously served as a Graduate Fellow at the Center for Innovation in Social Work and Health at Boston University, as a teen mental health counselor at McLean Hospital's dialectical behavioral therapy intensive unit, and as a research assistant at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health focused on federal and local food assistance programs.

She holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work and a BA in Sociology from Harvard College.
